Lake Geneva, WI — Suite 200 Solutions announces that Stephen “Steve” Pratt, CPCU, SCLA, ARM, AU, has joined the firm, merging his WC Claim Resolutions practice into the Suite 200 Solutions advisor group.
Steve’s practice helps carriers, self-insureds, and third-party administrators improve workers’ compensation claim outcomes across every jurisdiction. His work focuses on resolving complex and long-tail claims, providing TPA oversight and management, redesigning claim workflows, implementing technology solutions, and building operational and technical metrics aligned to business needs. Clients also engage Steve to improve ULAE, ALAE, and loss costs while maintaining superior file quality standards and practices.
Training and talent development have been a defining thread throughout Steve’s career. He built the workers’ compensation curriculum for Vale Technical Institute, designed a skill-gap assessment process tied to quality assurance results, created a vendor-based CEU program supporting license renewals, and partnered with the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University on a settlement program that engaged more than 250 claim professionals. He has also delivered CEU content for CPCU and built complete claim-handling methodologies, including the supporting training modules, tied to operational change initiatives.

Before launching WC Claim Resolutions, Steve held senior claims leadership roles at The Hartford as Vice President of Workers’ Compensation Claims, at Zenith as Senior Vice President of National Claims, at QBE as Vice President of Workers’ Compensation Claims, and as the Technical Senior Vice President at two major third-party administrators.
Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in business from Johnson State College in Vermont and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. He has completed executive education programs including a Harvard University negotiation course, the Wharton School’s “Managing with Ambiguous Authority,” and a leadership program at Michigan State. He has been actively involved with AIA, PCI, WCRI, CWCI, and other industry organizations working to advance the property and casualty sector.
